Private over Night trip to Cairo and Giza Per Flight

Once there your private Egyptologist will take you to the Giza Plateau to see the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Stand at the foot of the spectacular Pyramids of Giza and explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure. Find out how these temples were built and hear about their stories and legends. Then marvel at the Great Sphinx, the gigantic statue of a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of Pharaoh Chephren. Visit the valley temple on opposite side, which was dedicated to Pharaoh Chephren and a prime example of ancient engineering. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing towards South Cairo. An important aspect of the development of the pyramids is the step pyramid of Saqqara built for King Zoser, the ancient capital of Egypt Memphis with the statue of Ramses II and the great alabaster sphinx. The first day comes to an end and you drive to your hotel in Cairo for check-in, refreshment & dinner. In the evening we revisit the Pyramids to experience the Sound and Light Show (option), a Hollywood-style extravaganza depicting the history of Egypt and the life of the pharaohs at that time.
